Battery storage facility in Bautzen continues to burn

Since Tuesday afternoon, the fire department in Bautzen has been fighting the fire of a 1.5 megawatt battery storage facility. Nearly 50 people from the immediate vicinity were evacuated.

The fire has not yet been extinguished, the storage facility is currently being cooled with 5000 liters of water per minute.
