DataFleX tests new approaches for flexible small-scale systems

Tennet and Transnet BW are investigating, in the DataFleX project, how small flexible systems can be integrated into congestion management. These include PV home storage systems, electric vehicle batteries, heat pumps and small commercial loads.

At the center is a market-based "Leistungspreis-Plus" model for Redispatch 3.0. The project examines how the flexibility of many small systems could be used to balance grid bottlenecks.

DataFleX can also provide relevant approaches for energy communities in Austria. There, too, decentralized generation, storage and flexible consumption facilities are organized collectively.
